  1. Ok all sodered up. Thanks for the help guys.
  2. Anyways, going to soder the wires back, attach the hoses and see what happens
  3. Popped the access panel and two wires were disconnected. Removed corrosion and connected wires and now fuel pump works???? What the hell, this truck is weird, I ran out of fuel, so now...
  4. Ok so i pulled the filter and had someone crank the engine. No fuel came out. When i turn the key i hear a click but nothing else. So is my pump bad? Can the pump itself be clogged?
  5. Not that i can hear, but its parked near a loud street a 1/4 mile away. Im going to head over now with this new info. Will i be able to visually tell if the filter is bad? Can i clear it or bypass it to get it home?
  6. Nice thankyou, NPORA is dang amazing, thousands of people interested in the same truck I am. Anyway thanks again.
  7. Cool thanks for the info, do you know where the filter is?
  8. So I ran out of gas and put a 1/4 back in,now it starts but just barely and then quits. When it ran out I cranked it a couple times(i know, my Dad would be pissed lol), anyways so can anyone help me diagnose this? Is runs a little so I think that means my pump is ok (next time I wont crank it like that), so my guess is I sucked up junk into my fuel filter from running my gas down... does that sound right?
  9. And thankyou, i have been looking for that info for days. Id really like to know if my engine has 100,000, or 277,xxx, lol big difference. But with the work done to the rear frame i just found out about, maybe the kid was being honest.
  10. -Sweet, do you know how easy this number is to find on this engine/tranny configuration w/ the engine still in by any chance? -And no, i have drum rears.
  11. Ok so this is the wet hole in my brake line...
  12. Oh and i thought an engine block had the vin of the vehicle stamped into it... is this not true?
  13. Yeah i only troll when i fish... ill take a pic, i can see fluid and when i bend the rubber hose at hole i see frayed metal... so yeah thats there and my truck stops adequate (i thought lol) so how is this happening?
  14. So yeah, i need to find a little car to drive around so i dont have to rush this...
  15. I got a bottle jack, and im pretty crafty, so a tube bender should be pretty easy if i take my time. Maybe find plans on web...
