I am a former admin of the old nissanfrontier.net. I used to have a pretty nice 1993 Hardbody and am glad to be back in the Nissan truck family.

  1. I also put on the 4WD Pros hubs. Easy install. And my last fill up I got 20.4 MPG and 346 miles out of that tank. (Mostly highway) Overall my mileage went up 1-2 MPG. I'm currently averaging around 18.
  2. Well, let's see: I had a 72.5 Datsun 620 that was lowered with an L18 swap, race cam, 4 speed, and Weber 32/36 DGV carb. She was custom throughout and I wish I had pics of it. My next Nissan was a 1981 200SX Notchback with the Z-20E and 5-speed. The Hardbody was a 1993 single cab KA24E 5 speed with 3" of lift and 32" tires. I also had a 2005 Quest 3.5 SE that was fully loaded. My Pathfinder is stock for now but I'm sure that will change!
  3. I have used the Sylvania headlamp restoration kit on a 99 Chrysler T&C after reading reviews of other kits. Nearly a year later, the headlamps still look great and no yellowing. It was easy to do, too. The most common complaint I had read about most other kits is that the effect was somewhat temporary. Indeed, I used a cheap kit on another vehicle once and after a few months it was starting to look bad again. Easy enough to find the Sylvania kit. Here's an Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00429NKWK
  4. 1/4 turn to the left and the plastic base just comes out of the top of the switch. Then just unbend the leads to get the bulb out. Thread the new bulb in and bend the two leads the same way the old one was and clip the leads to length. It's pretty quick. It almost reminds me of christmas tree bulbs but there's an extra little twist.
  5. Thanks to this forum, my clock works! I re-soldered all of the surface mount resistors and bingo!
  6. I can confirm that Radio Shack 272-1092 fits perfectly into my 01 Pathfinder Recirc and AC buttons with the manual controls. I only had one burned out but replaced both for uniform brightness. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103780. Only $1.99 for two bulbs.
  7. Hello everyone! My name is Bob and I used to be an admin of the old nissanfrontier.net along with Dave Williams. I haven't had a Nissan truck for a while but I just picked up a 2001 Pathfinder SE just a couple of weeks ago and it feels great to be back in the Nissan family! I am originally from Klamath Falls, OR and lived in the Tacoma, WA area for about 11 years before moving to the Eugene, OR area in October of 2011. I'm really looking forward to learning more about my new ride, and I love it so far.
