Hey Guys, I need the spec for the CV joint/half axle for a 96 Pathfinder. In Brazil they are asking for the size...splines and length...does anyone know this?
-
Does anyone know the specs to the CV joints? I am going to buy the halfshaft - here in Brazil they are asking me the spindal count...I hope to get the parts today so I have my truck ready for Sundays trip. Madhornet....That will be my next check....when we checked everything again last night the CV shaft was looser than it should be...How hard was it for him to replace the chain?
-
So, I guess we are going with CV joints....quick fix...now just have to find the parts....Thanks guys Your rock like a redneck chicken on CRACK rock..

Hey Guys, I have 96 Pathy, I have new suspension but lately I hear a POPing noise coming from the front. When I put it in 4x4 and it has to pull up a hill you can hear it. When in 2wd, at slow speeds sometimes you can hear it and it seems to vibrate. I have never had autolocking hubs so I am not sure if its this or the axles…do you guys have any suggestions on where to start? Thanks Chuck

Wished I had lifted an extra inch all the way around....so I could have gotten 32s.... but I am going to change the spring in the front to maybe raise the front another 1/2 inch because my 31 rub when I turn left....this weekend she will get her brush gaurd... -

They have a lot of cars here that fun off of GNV (type of natural gas). The do not come from the fatury this way you have to buy a kit and have a specialist install it...The Government give you a discount on your taxes ever year if you use. When I use it, my Pathy feels like it goes from a V6 to a V2.. it takes all of the power away..... -

Thanks - It runs on Natural Gas, and gasoline.... -
Before after - New wheels and tires.....oh, and after lifting...(will be lifting the front another half inch soon) Will be adding a Nissan brush guard to the front soon, with lights......because of Brazilian laws I cannot change the form bumper because I have to have an inspection every year because she runs off of Natural Gass...and Regular gas...Does anyone know a way to mount a wench using the front buper and Nissan brush guard? and still have room for lights?

WOW, thats way more room than I have with 31s....I lifted my 96 3inches and was hoping to get 32s but didnt work, so I got 31s and still had to buy different wheels so they wouldnt hit the struts....
