  1. just because i wanted to get this lift done, bills had to stack up. finally picked up a second job and should have the lift by next week or so. i hope...
  2. Struts and mounts, just waiting for this upcoming paycheck to get the springs and shocks! So Tuesday couldn't come any faster of course. Maybe pops will just gimme 500 bucks. That would be nice!
  3. Running synthetic on high mileage vehicle was a bad idea I was told by a mechanic. It is thinner than conventional oil and will leak a lot easier and faster than conventional. Just what I was told.
  4. Question on shocks in the rear... Found some pro comp shocks on autopartswharehouse, only looking at them because its free shipping and 10% discount through Sunday, so I am getting my struts and mounts from them. Wondering if anyone runs pro comp shocks, I know it says they are intended for 0 inches of lift, but does 2 inches make a world of difference?? I wouldn't think so... please correct me if I am wrong.
  5. When i say the back springs, i mean how do i go about putting the new ones in?
  6. what about putting the back springs on? Pain?
  7. So I will be installing the AC lift, with new shocks and struts. Anything I need to beware of before I get started?
  8. my bad, found ome coils for a 4runner, it would be nice if someone found out if they were compatible with the r50. sorry!
  9. Very interesting, OME 3" coils cost around the same as an AC lift... Glad I haven't bought any coils yet.
  10. I'm going to be making my own light bar in as it starting to warm up outside so I can work on it without freezing my tail off. I was just looking for some suggestions on a making a bar and choice of lights. Found some lights on 4x4parts and wondered if anyone has tried them out, they are very cheap, and thats why I was wondering. the lights Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. And I will post some pics when I get done.
