  1. damn i if i put some 33s instead i heard everybody can go on that setup without SAS, i just dont know if it worth investing 1500$ on a 1400$ truck...
  2. Okay this question may be dumb but i don't know if i would invest 1500$ on a SAS and asking this question? how much time will cv joint axle handle 35x12.5 tires??? if i only 4-5" SL + 2-3" BL i pay my cv joint axle at the local store 70$ each for brand new axle they are 1 year warranty. please excuse my English i speak french :S
  3. just use big tie-wraps , if u take big tie-wraps u can keep the spring compressed to remove it its a red-neck way and pretty handy in a JY, and for putting them in the back i used a strap bender and compressed it then put tie-wraps at around 15"½ to get them fit perfectly with both rubber top and bottom only cut the pigtail half a row.
  4. just did it with a .56 18" long spring gave me 2.5" of lift, i have a 4 door with the spare tire in the in trunk compartment. I paid only 16$ for the JGC springs. only cut half of half of a row of the pigtail exactly the opposite from it and use the same rubber for the top i had to cut half of the inner rubber to make it fit to the 3" of the top mount of the spring. its a lot more stiffer and now i can go on highway with less wedging side to side... didnt know i needed to use spring compressors so i use tie-rap and benders (red neck) but my tie-rap are the one that police use now for handcuffs 1/2" wide and 36" long used 5 for removal and 5 for reinstall plus a binder. i also had to remove both bottom of shocks and the left panhard screw to have more rooms so i only had to compress springs to 15.5"/16". i painted then Kawasaki green so its really nice looking i plan on repainting some other parts this color. some at the end with 31x10.5x15 34.75 front 35.75 rear i need to get the front realigned a bit tho!
  5. my pathy did the same thing this winter when it was cold and humid. but i had some electrical it was doing like if i would try to start it on DRIVE instead of PARK, maybe i just have a faulty starter But after 15 minutes of turning the key the car started it was -40 outside but i swear its not about the temperature. the car wasnt just cranking at all and the battery was full
  6. Getting grand cherokee springs asap!

  7. here is some pictures enjoy
  8. thanks, it was very helpfull ill take a look in my local junkyard
  9. where do i get this did they came stock on some models?
  10. I want to know what is the warn locks for and why i dont have it on my truck i noticed some of you have this, is it only in front or i can be in the rear too?
  11. Thanks you its easy to understand now that i can see it that was very helpful, raining outside today maybe doing this tomorow
  12. is it normal i cant see any pics?? i would like to understand more how to do it before i get into this!
  13. The new tires are now on on the smalls 6 inches wide chrome wheels and it fit perfectly, but when i hit a huge bump while off-roading the wheel get all the way into the fender and hit the the plastic inner and 2 screw/bolts that are there. is there a way to crank the bars more than the maximum? i didn't cranked it to the max but i know i ain't far from it. And i will need to level up the rear do you know where to get a coil spacer bushing that would fit under the rear coils so i can get at least 1" or 1.5" max. i know some other coils can fit but i have no idea were to get them none in my local junkyard. ill try to crank it up a little more and get this beast aligned. thanks for the reply about the CV i check that soon but I'm attending a local car show this weekend so i can't put a lot of time on it. i will also have to change a front caliper that is leaking from the piston.
  14. Thanks a lot dude that almost ruined my day as i was really excited about those tires on my chromies!!! its Goodyear Wrangler territory from canadian tire they were cheap less than 600$, do you think i need to lift the truck a lot for these to fit well??
  15. im from quebec city, damn rims would be so expensive i just spend 600$ on these tires, i know im dumb and didnt check if it would fit first but im sure it can fit some ppl are streching low profile tires on some volkswagen and its way off rim/tire spec
