  1. I have got to do something mine is kinked, starting to cause over heating problems. I did a 3 inch body lift. I hate it...using a radiator drop down bracket would've helped I suppose.
  2. Wooow this things is awesome! Cant wait to check it out!
  3. sweet, I'll check that out for sure, thanks B. I'll let you guys know if I figure anything out.
  4. It doesn't seem to make any difference with O/D switch on or off. I was afraid it was clutches or T/C...sooo much money...
  5. No Metal flakes, The stock cooler is bypassed, There is no aftermarket filters, and reverse is good, may take a second to get in it but it seems normal.
  6. I haven't changed the transmission fluid, leave well enough alone there. Yes, I have a transmission cooler No, the ecu shows no error codes.
  7. Should have put that in there...Fluid is good, healthy pink tinge and doesnt smell burnt.
  8. I searched and didn't run across any topics that covered this so here goes. I've have v6 with an automatic and I'm wondering if my torque converter is flaking out. Here's the symtoms. Sometimes starting off it slips like crazy and I have to back my foot off or it just keeps slipping. It hesitates to shift into third when I need to merge with traffic and then shifts rather hard into it if I dont back off of the gas. At 55-70 mph it will strangely jump up a couple hundred rpm if I sink my foot a little in the gas or if I start to come to a hill then if I give it a little more gas it drops back down, give it even more and goes on and downshifts. It isn't dropping out of overdrive into 3rd, its just dropping/revving 200 or so rpm. My thoughts are that for some reason the torque converter is jumping out of being locked at those speeds. Anyways, thanks guys.
  9. Well, the installation of two 12 inch subs went rather well. I feel so juvenile with them turned up though.

  10. My wife bought me a 3 inch body lift kit for valintines day. Yeah, she rocks.

its in Florida at the moment , but it should be here in a couple of days!

  11. I wish sleep was an optional activity.

  12. Sweet, thanks for all the advice. I think I'll do it without the drop down bracket. It gets into the 100's in the summer here but judging from everyone else experience that shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully by the end of February I'll have the kit in hand.
  13. Not too far, I live in Longview. Man, I love the campus there, it's really cool.
  14. Do I need the radiator drop down bracket?
