Thanks for the welcome guys. Pics will be up in a few days. Got to find a stopping point for the rain first though...
I have already looked around a bit on the boards and seems like you can get about 3" of lift relatively inexpensively.
3" kit with UCA's and rear springs or 3" body lift. I have installed some body lifts on other 4x4 projects in the past and am thinking it might be worth the extra $150.00 to just do the suspension lift.
I have access to a shop with lifts and air tools so either way is OK.
The body lift would also keep me from having to buy extended shocks also, which is something I guess I would need to add into the extra cost of the suspension lift.
Right now my flex ability is extremely limited due to my wheel/tire location from my 10" width wheels. Turning radius is also very close to rub point on flat ground.
I am considering going back to a narrower rim, but hate to lose the look and extra stability I have with the wider width wheelbase.
The Pathfinder is a new Project for me. My past rigs have been Jeep CJ 5's, Jeep Cherokee's, both types, Dodges, Chevy's and Toyota's. I have built up several rigs over the last 10 years and sold or traded them off just to gain knowledge and experience and increase my fabrication skills needed to build them. Call it my Hobby. One day I hope to make it my main source of income, since I basically love the hands on stuff and custom fabrication to make each one unique in its own way.
Anyways, I will save all this tech stuff for the other forum boards.
Again, thanks for the welcome. Good to be aboard.
