Thanks, I will check those things out.

Full lock means that the wheels are turned fully in one direction. I was simply looking for ideas of other potential problems before I begin to diagnose anything. Thank you for your sincere input, it was most helpful.
-
I have developed a clunk under the front end when at full lock, either direction, in reverse. I think it is probably loose tie rod ends, but I wanted to get some input before replacing them. What are your thoughts?

VQ35 Power Valve Riddle (w/ answer)
wspinks replied to IncidentalOffroader's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Thank You!!!!! I was going to do this in the coming weeks, before a long road trip in June. You saved me a lot of time. -
Probably not, it should still clip back in when you put it back together. Just make sure to line the plastic posts up carefully, when you clip them in, those things are pretty fragile.
-
The black plastic pieces at the front corners of the roof rack have to be removed in order to get to the screws that hold the wind deflector on. You will need to use a screwdriver to pop those pieces off.
-
If you remove the wind deflector, I bet you will see that the plastic has pulled away from the metal support that runs across the middle. I used some Gorilla Glue and C-clamps and got everything to line back up just fine, really easy fix.

I am ready to buy as well, let me know.

Manuals with the 4:3 do have lsd's, at least my 2002 does.

Fan Clutch Going Bad, I Think? Any Suggestions?
wspinks replied to jfoust's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I did the same thing, thinking it was a loose belt, but now I know. Thanks! -
I did the same thing yesterday, took me a little while to figure that out too.
-
No problems here, I have had the K&N intake for over 10,000 miles. The airbox is never really "sealed" anyway.
-
70,000 miles on an 02 and no problems to date.
-
got a lot of work in it. Ebay
