My Pathy is a '95 SE that's pretty close to stock. It's got a jvc stereo and 4 5x7 sony xplod speakers (rewired and installed by yours truly) It's also got a custom fabbed cold air intake (fabbed by yours truly). Fenders are hacked and manual lockin' hubs are installed. If I come by a ton o' money, I want to SAS and supercharge.

  1. I don't really mind the changes (I own all the tools now and can knock it out in an afternoon), but I love the idea of just tensioning the chain once in a while and not giving it a second thought. Maybe someday I'll do it. Anybody seen a serpentine belt conversion? I know they make them for some of the v belt chevys.
  2. I have done my timing belt twice in the two years I have owned my pathy. The first time I messed up and had to go do it again, but the question is, does anybody know of a chain or gear drive conversion for the VG30? I doubt one exists, but I am hopeful. It would be nice because that job is a pain.
  3. Here's a winner. Put one shrimp inside somebody's washer fluid resevoir. It'll float around rotting and cooking and after a little bit, when they spray the window, nasty a$$ shrimp juice gets sucked down their cowl into their cab. Smells terrible and they can tear apart their ventilation and never figure out where the smell came from, but next time they spray the window...
  4. Well Chromotech, I recently rewired my fogs to a separate switch, and I can tell you it's pretty straightforward except getting the damn wires into the cab.
  5. Could just be a bad MAF sensor.
  6. Hmm. My truck runs out of gas once a month at maybe two miles past 300. I actually got about fourteen when the engine was running on five cylinders with 183 degree off-timing.
