  1. I just dealt with these yesterday. I used needle nose pliars. Grabbed them by the "pointy end" with the pliars and forced them into the grille. Then I gently twisted them with the pliars until they clicked back into place. Got all 4 back in intact!
  2. I felt the same way. 'Course it took me needing to do exhaust research to get back in here. Great folks on here still. I'm in the same boat, trying to decide how much to invest or go into debt again on a car loan, yikes....
  3. OEM exhaust manifolds or headers?........what to do.

Exhaust work is not cheap for sure but it's one of the best mods ever. If you are not planning on re-doing the entire system just go with the factory manifolds and scrap the heat shields.

That's prob what I'll do. I lost a chuck of heat shield years ago in Spokane wheeling with Casey.T. Thanks Tungsten

No problems. If you are going to stick with factory manifolds, check them for cracking and warping unless you are buying new ones.

  4. More snow. Time to see how the new shoes handle it.

How did they handle the snow and ice?

So far they're better tan the Pathfinder All Terrains I had. Of course the snow all melted as soon as I got them.

  6. HOLY CRAP! Oliver was online!

  7. Huh. Babies like chewing on tree bark. Who knew?

  8. No. No I don't. I took 'em off and sold 'em to a NPORAer
  9. Eastern Washington University Cheney, WA BA Criminal Justice January 2004- June 2007. Now I work in a casino.
  10. I'm trying to replace the fuel filter and I can't get the lines off. The best I can figure are some vice grips to twist the lines off but it seems like it'll rip the hoses, and I don't want that.
  11. The wifey and I are heading your way some time this summer (hopefully) for a change of scenery and to get the hell out of King County. Who lives in the area?
  12. Hmm. . your ideas are intriguing to me. I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
  13. Ah. Finally. Now I can rest at ease. You must have been receiving my "messages..." Damn, that almost cost me a laptop. Minor update. No new fires, but there was a grizzled old hobo hitch-hiking in front of our house last night. WTF? There are no hobos in frigging Covington. Time to dig in.
  14. In the past week there have been two house fires with in 1/4 mile of each other and within spitting distance of my house. If you drew a line between the two my house would be about dead center between them. The "A" on the map. In fact, while the fire burned yesterday (the lower left house) I heard several loud BOOMs and saw flames shooting up above the trees. I have also had strange vehicles pulling into my driveway to use it their own little turn-around point. I've never seen anyone do that. Yesterday it was a Z06 Vette and today some weird woman in a mid-90's Malibu with US Gov. plates, twice!
