  1. if u do let me know on a price and all. i have tons of grade 8 hardware i can use. also send me some pics if u can please. thanks
  2. WHERE DO I GET THE BLOCKS FOR THE ENGINE AND SUBFRAME?
  3. well i put the spacers in and had a problem. it gave me 6 inches of lift and my sway bar was hitting the strut and the lower ball joints were maxed out also. guess i will cut the spacers in half and try again. those of you who have done the SFD how did u do it? mines a 2 wheel drive.
  4. im just gonna paint them for now. as far as the rear im still fabbing up the spacer. i will get better pics later today. i have also thought of the f350 coils also. has anyone else tried the f350 coils? let me know. in front im gonna use the spacers with oem coils for now.
  5. Well I finallygot my 3 inch Strut Spacers Fabricated. made them from 1/4 steel plate and 1/4 round tube with a 4 inch Inner Diameter. let me know what you think.
  6. I will have pics up at the end of the weekend. im out of town at the moment for work. im a bail enforcment officer so i do alot of traveling. I will tell my fab guy to take pics for me and email them to me. and sorry for the caps. im used to always posting most of my stuff like that.
  7. WE TOOK A SET OF MX-6 REMOTE RESOVOIR SHOCKS AND MY FRIEND IS MOUNTING THE STRUT STYLE BRACKETS TO IT TO MAKE IT A STRUT. THE SHOCKS ARE OFF HIS 2005 9 INCH LIFTED DODGE RAM 2500 CUMMINS. THEY HAVE ABOUT 14-15 INCHES OF TRAVEL. SO WE ALSO USED HIS OLD FRONT SPRINGS AND ARE GONNA MOUNT THEM AS MY COIL TO THE HOME MADE STRUT.IN TOTAL I WILL GET ABOUT 6-8 INCHES OF LIFT (I HOPE MORE) THATS Y WE ARE ALSO MAKING A 4 INCH SUB FRAME DROP FOR IT ALSO. HE OWNS A CUSTOM SHOP SO HES HELPING ME WITH EVERYTHING. THE ONLY BAD PART IS WITH HIS SPRINGS MY FRONT WILL BE STIFF SO HE HEAT TREATED THE COILS TO SOFTEN THEM UP ALOT. STILL GOT AT LEAST A MONTHS WORTH OF WORK TO DO BUT WE ARE TAKING IT SLOW SO WE CAN TEST EVERYTHING AND PLAY GOOD AND HARD WHEN ITS FINISHED. AS FOR THE REAR OF THE TRUCK WE CUT OFF ALL THE TRAILING ARMS AND COILS AND WE MADE A CUSTOM LONG ARM 4 LINK FOR IT. I HAVE A SPRING SHOP HERE MAKING ME CUSTOM REAL COILS WITH 6 INCHES OF LIFT FOR THE REAR. ITS BEEN A LONG 2 MONTHS BUT IN THE END I WILL BE HAPPY. THIS IS MY 2ND PROJECT. MY FIRST WAS A COLORADO SHELL MADE BAJA. ITS FUN TO DRIVE BUT IM SELLING IT NOW. GOT A GUY WHO OFFERED ME $14.5K FOR IT AND IT ONLY COST ME ABOUT $5K TO BUILD. SO A HEFTY PROFIT TO ME.
  8. well i can only use his rear axle cuz mine is a 2 wheel drive. im doin a prerunner setup to mine. wish it was 4x4. where i live we have alot of flat open space to pre run and jump so i want something a lil baja style but with a limited slip. I HATE having an open diff. it sucks sometimes. plus im making a set of custom front struts for my truck that willl give me about 14 inches of travel plus a sub frame drop. its my play toy. not a daily driver. just wish i could do long arms to push out the tires like the baja trucks. I like to do my own fab work. its fun to be able to have fun with something that you built yourself. i would love to be able to do tube doors instead of my full doors.
  9. I'm just wondering if the 2001 QX4 hid/projector factory lights would mount to my 1998 Nissan Pathfinder SE? my friend totaled his QX4 and the front end is still good. so i want his lights. i like the hid look and the projector set up they have. i'm also swapping rear Axles with him so i can have the limited slip that his truck has. mine is an open differential. any help and suggestions would greatly be appreciated. thank you.
