carfax says they found 15 reports. althought i dont know how reliable their information is as ive never had to use it.

CARFAX uses that tactic (saying "X" number of reports found) to get you to spend the $$ and buy the report. Then when you read it, you see that they classify a servicing in the same class as a wreck, but use them both as "reports." I bought one on my old car and saw the same thing and was so confused. Then I saw that every time I got my safety inspection re-done it used those as "reports."

You should have seen the carfax on my Pathy before I bought it. Listed it as nonexistent until 2002 or so (it's an '87), then leased to someone in CO, then a couple more like that, and only 90K miles on it in 2004 or 2005.. and when I bought it a few months ago, it was rolling about 193K....

Eh, its just because its from a kinda shady looking used car dealer. I just wanted to make shure not serious wrecks.

 

And yes, I know its not a Nissan.
