Datsunman
Maybe I should post this here as it's deisel specific! I took a guess that the oil filter on my WD21 Terrano might be the same as that on a UK spec R20 Terrano II as it has the same engine but it turned out it's not! I've tried to find a listing for a 1990 Terrano R3M 2.7TD but I've had no luck so far.The filter that was on it is a Japanese one made by Axcela with the number 4NC-109 but I can't find any referece to that make from which to cross reference. Can anyone give me a Nissan part number of even an aftermarket number that I might be able to cross reference from? I can post a picture of the old filter if it'll help. Thanks, Ed
sw
well a friend of mine states that a ryco Z416 works on his td27t. he also mentioned a Z520, but then stated that the Z416 fits better. let us know how you go.
buzz
It's definitely a ryco Z416. Changed mine last weekend. PS The position for the oil filter must have been designed by a moron because it is EXTREMELY difficult to locate back onto the thread ( let alone get a grip on it to remove!) Try attacking it by removing left wheel and reach thru side access. Get someone from above to reach down and remove old filter once released or else diesel oil everywhere!! Good luck (until next change!!) Buzz. PS I'm getting a new STX shortly... anyone interested in a Terrano ????
