I voted for XE, but here's why... I wanted the fewest power gismos as I could find, but still wound up with power locks, windows, mirrors. Tilt wheel, cruise control and AC that it has are important in my book... Ok, so be it, it WAS in good shape with low miles and has the rear tire carrier, window defroster and LSD that I wanted. Complaints are no roof rack (about to install a factory unit), no oil pressure gauge or volt meter (will install aftermarket) and no grill guard but that would just be smashed now anyway. Other than running boards (useless and I have Smittybilt nerf bars waiting installation) it may as well be an SE... The lines between are very blurred and I have managed to purchase/obtain the 'upgrade' parts for about $300. So whats the difference, really ? Other than lower purchase price ? Not much. That said, if it was an SE for the same price/condition with LSD, I would have bought it. :shrug:

I have a XE that is almost a SE. The only thing that I dont have is the sprot susp. and the roof rack. Other wise I have PM, PW, PL, LSD, rear tire carrier (not on right now), keyless, and I think that about rounds it up.

Same here except I have the roof rack..... I love my XE.. no need for lots of gadgets (hell.. they come standar with lots of them anyway)... I have 2 push bars awaiting installation for under $80 for the pair.. like B said.. if I ain't got some Smittys or even those new Wester-somethings from Pep boys to install.. then they amy as well be missing.. makes her look like higher ground clearance without them anyway..lol... I would rather build myself some rock sliders....

ALL PATHYS RULE!!!!!!!!! :beer::aok:

*Parks on Slick's hood* Maybe a Jack and Coke will get me to move.

yeah, my XE is pretty close to SE, sans the rotor breaks in the rear

Close, but my SE doesn't have rear discs either.

I like the SE package better, I have had XE's as well. I like the lego wheels, and the upgraded interior. One question though... I thought that all SE packaged Pathfinders had the adjustable suspensions on the first generation. Is that not the case? Anyway here is a pic of my '94 SE

Nissans lines that separate the trim levels are really fuzzy... If the adjustable suspension available in '88, then I have an SE that does not have it.

:o *removes mr P from her hood.. turns her Pathy around and lets it idle for 15 minutes so it stinks out and chokes mr P's pathy* :P

The XE I had came with power everything? Why would that not be good if you hunt?

Well its probably more personal preference, but when I'm out hunting and I spot a buck I want to get the spotting scope on I don't want to piss around waiting for the window to slowly roll down. I mount my spotting scope on the window, and if I want to adjust the height of the scope I don't like having to turn the key to get power so I can move the window up/down. I prefer doing things as fast and conveniently as possible when out hunting, I don't have patience and I don't like to mess around. When doin the early morning watch I want my vehicle to be 100% silent.

Obviously its not going to ruin a hunt or ruin your day and its not going to stop me from buying a vehicle, but its sure a hell of alot nicer. Just my personal preference.
