I think there should be a sticky on proof reading what you post, that way when someone reads what you write, it makes sense. It only takes a second to read what you wrote before clicking the "reply" button.

Hi All,

Glad to be a new member. I own a 2001 and 2003 (both since new). I love this truck. I have beaten it beyond recognition, taken it anyplace I wanted to go, towed nearly everythnig and it has always come through for me. It has been the reason many of my friends now own them or are looking for one.

Yes, there is a window of 10 or 15 minutes (I dont remember right off the top of my head) that members can edit their posts. This is due to abuse of the unlimited edit that used to be implemented. I would suggest proofreading before hurriedly hitting enter, nothing could be THAT important you can't take an extra minute to make sure you typed what you wanted. If you missed the window and something needs edited you can PM a member of the mod team with a link to the needed edit and what you would like fixed.

okay thank you. Sometimes you just have to hurry up and ask how big of tires can you put on your stock Pathfinder and you don't have time to proofread. J/K of course. (I have found the answer to be 31x10.50 on the stock wheels with just a slight rub issue while turning. The back is another story...I fit 285/75s on 17 in wheels, but now I look like a stink bug) :)

Hey I edited it. Thanks again guys!

Hello NPORA members! My name is Jason Cossette, from Klamath Falls, OR. I haven't posted anything on here yet, but have used these forums extensively to help diagnose issues I have had with my vehicles. The service manuals and all the knowledge found here are invaluable. Thank you all. I haven't done anything to my vehicles, as I am usually just trying to keep things in working order lol! I have a 95 SE 4wd, 146,000 miles, that is just sitting for now because I decided to jump a tree with on accident last deer hunting season. The one I am currently driving is a 94 XE 4wd, 207,000 miles. I am about to tackle the busted exhaust manifold bolts on the passenger side. The 94 I picked up for $800, and so far I replaced the radiator, thermostat, cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires, and the coolant sensor for the gauge. I do have plans to SAS the 95 someday, and am looking at somehow sticking a 4bt cummins under the hood. I'm a dreamer, but I believe I can do it, and that's what matters. I look forward to gaining and sharing knowledge on these forums. Glad I signed up! Just realized I posted this in the Editing and Posting and You section, so this last sentence was edited! Ha!

Hello All,

New member here. This web site has been very helpful to me in the past. I have a question about my '95 Pathfinder. Do I ask here or do I go to another place with in here to ask question? Like I said just joined and and do not know the protocol.

You want to ask your questions in the appropriate topic. I see you have a 95. It's best to post in the year specific threads to keep confusion at a minimum. If you do post something in the wrong place, our wonderful mods will take care of it. Now, I highly recommend using the search function first. Some questions have been asked 55283956483 times and some times it does not need to be asked again. Also, a member who may not be active has answered a question a long time ago and current members may not know or have the same information. When you use the search, click the advanced search icon(looks like a little gear) and type in what you want to search for, then select "search only in titles". Then the search won't look for the same words buried in every thread. Welcome by the way! If you'd like to practice, start a new member thread and give us more details about you and your rig. Just hit the black button that says "Start new thread".

Hello. I just want to introduce myself. I have a 1998 2wd Pathfinder that I bought used in 2010. It's been extremely reliable and has seen lots of miles in these last few years. The DIY in me is what it used to be but when times are tight I give it my best.
