Vsicks Pathy
So, last Thursday night I rolled my '86 Pathfinder 3 times. The only damage is to the roof and the driver side. I've already made plans to find a new truck, but now I'm stuck with this Pathy that I'll get around $100 for if I decide to sell it. My thought was to cut the top off (Jeep style), build some type of roll bar and have a drop top/dune buggy Pathfinder. My questions are. Has anybody done/tried this? Is it going to look retarded? Am I an idiot for even thinking about it? ON-ON JCollins Post a pic of the Pathy you rolled 3 times. I want to see the damage. Glad you were OK. jcollins
The back end got a little shifted after the landing too, so the rear hatch would'nt close. Edited August 1, 2005 by jcollins

vengeful
That looks ridiculous in a sexy sorta way! I like it...now throw a pair of full width axles and some 37s under it and it'll be even cooler!
jcollins
Thanks Vengeful! I still need to toos in the rollbar and get the soft-top finished up. It's all show & no go, but it serves it's purpose. On-On J Collins

jcollins
The damage was minimal. It was basically an excuse for me to use my new DeWalt recip. saw and buy a new truck!

vengeful
And how do you suggest doing that V6? The back end is attached TO THE ROOF! I'm sure he is working on a way to get a tailgate in there.
GrimGreg
My plan for the tailgate was going to be to cut the hatch, remove the striker, add a hing at the bottom, and a couple of slide pins into the sides at the top.
Vsicks Pathy
GG posted this. When you see it you'll know what I am talking about. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4653&st=

Are you suggesting that all is not what it seems GG and that a comment might, just might be warrented? :X The snorkle thing was not a 'blow up' it was honesty. I still get a laugh from those pics. sssh
GrimGreg
No, but after your hacking comment referring to the snorkels, I figured hacking the back off wouldn't be up to your "standards"
