mandersen8
Hi All, I have done a lot of research on this but can seem to find a definitive answer. I am looking at getting new rear shock for my 6" lifted pathy that I wheel a lot and was going for Bilstein (33-185552) 5100). Spec: Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorber Collapsed Length (in.): 15.91 Extended Length (in.): 25.93 Travel Length (IN): 10.02 Lower Mount: Eye 16mm Upper Mount: Eye 16mm Shaft Diameter: 14mm Does any one have experience with these or have a better shock for rock crawling? mvlzmarv
The shocks I just recommended offers 29.7” extended height vs. the 25.9” from the one you listed. I’d recommend checking TowndawgR50’s setup just Incase. Also your 35” setup sounds interesting. Do you mind sharing pics?

XPLORx4
The 185569 shocks are longer than the 185552. The 569’s work well with a 6” lift, while the 552’s are better suited to a 2” lift. I have the 569’s on mine and they work well.

I was looking at the 569's so I think I will go with those
