nicknwo4life
So my fuel gauge has been off / not accurate and I'm planning to replace my fuel pump and gauge float one package, my question is do I have to drop the tank or is there an access under the back seat carpet?? It seems in the cars I've seen videos you can remove the seat and there it is, I can feel the hump under the carpet under the rear seat but don't feel any bolts to a access cover, I'm guessing the tank needs to be dropped but I want to double check here if I can save a big step in this repair. Thank you
Slartibartfast
My '93 has a hatch, no idea if Nissan carried that along to the R51 though. The fuel system section of the manual's available here, might help give you an idea of what you're up against.
Mr_Reverse
I cannot remember, but I believe the tank has to be lowered to replace the fuel pump module.
