great video dude, looked like a lot of fun.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, any new R50 owners gotta check out Tyler's youtube channel, the videos he has on all the details you need for the lift provide a TON of good info. Recent and up to date content, informative, and specifics. I spent a while digging through them when I first started working on my rig and it was an invaluable resource. The forum also has a ton of info, but the videos are straightforward and lay it all out in an easy to understand way. Suspension stuff is expensive and a little intimidating to do for the first time, and the videos gave me a lot of confidence in my purchases and my install!

Keep up the videos dude, the work you put in is showing! Looking forward to whatever is your next project on the rig so I can steal some ideas hahahahaha ;)

Little trip recap: went camping with @micahfelker and a pretty nice taco. About a 180 mile round trip, with some extra miles put on in order to link up with Micah. Had to use my 3 gallon spare fuel to make it (211 miles total). Super cool canyon with a hot springs nestled along the river. Day and a half of just hanging out in the area and a total of two nights camping. The only tricky part was the road out of the canyon- going up it in the snow, I was happy to have the lokka + LSD combo. A little left foot brake kept all 4 tires in traction and made for a safe ascent.

heres the video for those interested:

Well, there it is. With the un-ceasing oil consumption of my R50, I have decided to move onto a different platform while the pathfinder is still worth something. I have alot of love for this community, and will continue to stay in touch, especially on youtube and instagram. But, I started on NPORA, and I'm grateful for the resource that this forum is. It's put me in touch with alot of great people. I'll miss you guys

This is my replacement, a single owner 2001 4x4 V8 Tundra. I suppose I've joined @mjotrainbrain by hopping from the R50 to a toyota 4.7.

The Toyota guys are going to get a fantastic member. PathyDude17 has definitely an asset to the r50 community.

Yeah the Yota gang is definitely winning on this one, I'm sure Tyler will be teaching me things about my car before I know it! Sad to see yet another R50 owner go, but at least you've left a strong legacy of helpful information though your YouTube videos. Reading through the comments and being on a FB page I've seen lots of evidence of your impact on this community.

Looks like you found a clean one! My dad's got the same year and color. The BCM likes to leave the parking lights on, and the front diff let go once (too much skinny pedal trying to get it unstuck), but it's a great tow rig and the 2UZFE gets up and goes when it needs to. One thing to check, there's a rubber bung on the timing cover where the wiring passes through for the cam position sensor. If it's not reinstalled correctly after a timing belt replacement, mice can get in, and mice aren't good for timing belts. (Skipped two teeth, shredded the mouse, valves were fine.)

As others have said you've left a strong legacy with the R50 community. I can't thank you enough for helping me get mine to where it is with both your videos & helpful insights on NPORA, the FB groups, and the comment section of your videos.

I'm excited to see the Yota in action.

It's good to see some of my old, favorite parts get a second life:

@ferrariowner123's, now @micahfelker's pathfinder stopped by this weekend to swap me headlights and grilles. Arguably, the BX Built lights and my Honeycomb grill both look better on his facelift swapped '96 than they ever did on my 03.

More parts fun last weekend.

@Ravens794, better known as ricksha_r50 on Instagram, stopped by for some parts. We got him hooked up with my old 4.6/lokka front differential as well as some other odds and ends. Extra roof rack parts and an OEM hitch were also in order. And he dropped off some parts so that I can pass them along to another owner this coming weekend. It really is an R50 junkyard growing in my own garage. He's one of my favorite R50's to get the Pines to Spines treatment. His build is really coming together, you can see more on his rig here:

Or on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ricksha_r50/

Super nice guy who was a lot of fun to meet! I'm glad the lokka will be getting put to good use.

On another note, my pathfinder is officially sold:

Got 3500 out of it, which is what we bought it for. Sold it to a nice guy who wants to go camping and shooting with it. By the time all the parts were off, all that was really left was the lift and tires.

Curious where you posted it for sale? I’ve been cruising FB Marketplace, OfferUp & Craigslist for 2001-4 R50s over the last 4-8 weeks & didn’t see it. I included all of WA & OR in that range & it was picking up Spokane & Boise trucks.
