ChellezPathy
Hello everyone. I have an R50 that I just replaced both the cv joints, front shocks, and added a 2" leveling kit and now it vibrates when it accelerating in 4wd. It was not doing it before and It does not do it in 2wd or when I let off the gas. It seems the worst between 20-40 mph. I have not had an alignment done. Has anyone experienced this? RedPath88
Welcome to NPORA! You'll draw more attention to your question if you were to post this in the garage (in this instance), so with that goal in mind I'm moving this to that section. onespiritbrain
What brand of CVs did you use?
PathyDude17
I’m thinking along the same lines..... Do you run manual hubs? I’ll occasionally get CV clicking on sharper turns, and I feel like it gets worse when I’m in 4WD Edited January 26, 2019 by PathyDude17
adamzan
Mine did this with this with aftermarket CVs. I believe the brand was cardone or surtrack.
ChellezPathy
My mechanic purchased and I'm not sure about the brand, although I'm sure I can find out. As I'm sure most of you are aware, part options are very limited for the R50 Pathfinder. Is this just a nuisance thing or is it bad for the truck? onespiritbrain
How severe is the vibration? Barely noticeable or can you put your mechanic in the passenger seat and he’d notice immediately?
ChellezPathy
It's pretty noticeable to kinda alarming but I'm not sure how it feels from the passenger seat. I do have a tendency to notice stuff that other people don't. lol
