Mrelcocko
Always wondered why Nissan/Infiniti didn't start putting their signature clocks in the QX4 till the 01 model year. If your like me you took care of that problem and put one in yourself. Here's a guide on how to do just that. Find you a clock, take the front cover off and use it as your template. Once you have your outline marked drill as many holes possible. Once you drill out all you can use a grinding wheel or a dremel tool to finish the rest of the cutting it's that easy. Use silicone to hold the clock in place. Run you a constant 12v source and a ground for clock operation then 2 more wires for your illumination. That's it. If need to find a place to tap in for your illumination I just tap in to your cigarette lighter illumination. So simple folks. #infiniticlock #JRL50 #INFINITIQX4 Mr Cox 96R50-97JR50

Mrelcocko
Interested in doing this, but nervous about cutting my panel. It's a real easy add on. Make sure and use a small drill bit for drilling your holes. Use a drimmel tool or a drill with a sanding stone to finish the job.Mr Cox 96R50-97JR50
Bax03SE
Looks like a cool project. Is there something that goes around the face of the clock to finish it off and cover the edges where the hole was cut? Mrelcocko
Looks like a cool project. Is there something that goes around the face of the clock to finish it off and cover the edges where the hole was cut? There's a Chrome plated ring that goes around some of the Infiniti clocks I tried that it looked okay but in all it just wasn't right so I took it back off. All I can say is just finish off your edges with a Dremel tool and make them as neat as possible that's what I did. Mr Cox 96R50-97JR50
Mrelcocko
I've still got some tweaking to do, but in all I'm pleased.Mr Cox 96R50-97JR50
