Cle Elum ranger district is hosting the free Chainsaw cert class/ trail clearing weekend again May 19-20 at Liberty. Come get your US Forest service Sawyer/Volunteer cert and receive a free NW Forest pass for your work that weekend as well (minimum amount of hours required)
Wheeling while you work! I did it last year. Super fun. Help keep the trails open that we all use by clearing trails for the upcoming year.

Its pretty fun. We camp, wheel and clear downed trees and foliage all weekend. Plus we get administrative access to closed trails all season long for the same purpose.

Check with your local FS ranger district. If they don't already have something in place I'm sure they would help organize an event.
