Bought some L.E.D fog lights since how the factory fogs were inop and trashed and installed them. I used factory connectors and wired them to my new fogs so I could just plugem in to the factory wiring. 6d12247ee4a45defd634ccc002f1cacd.jpgddf1b3cb9b65cc346ff67c5acedc45b4.jpgb23a89acf11102a1a456e840a3b30f0c.jpg

I don't know exactly what size they are but I can tell you this this is the second set I bought the first set I put them on my other Pathfinder I got them from Walmart. I've bought lots LEDs online and then get them they work for a few weeks and then they stop working. The first ones I bought from Walmart that I put on my black Pathfinder they've been on there for 2 years and they still work perfect. That's why I went with those again for this Pathfinder. Just go to Walmart go back to automotive and you will be able to find these lights there around $22 they come with everything you need. I would also cut the connectors off your factory fog lights and wire them into your new fog lights. When you install you can just plug and play like I did.

I thought about doing that with the connectors but i need to check my wiring before i try that. These things work so intermittently it has to be something in the wiring.

But i definitely want to change those out for led pods

Clean install!

I've had mixed luck with cheap LEDs. I think some of the sellers have no idea what IP67 means, but they know it moves product. I've got cheapos from ebay (Voltage brand) on a lawn tractor and as bed lights on a pickup and they've held up great so far, but the Kawells I used as reverse lights on my Pathy had no seals at all and let water in pretty quickly. Luckily they survived my less-than-delicate disassembly, drying, and resealing efforts, and the bumper hides the mess I made with the silicone. Good to know the Malwart ones are decent. How's the light output on those?

Decided to keep my grill lights off my 98 pathy which I sold to help with the overall appearance. I think it adds a little flavor. I also kept my wheels and tires. This project is almost complete. 6b13acdb979cc502eef5154741d3c93e.jpgf53a1214064e81fdb865507ce7662288.jpg

Finally wired my grill lights up. Put a factory Nissan relay in and a fog switch from a Suzuki Aero or whatever you call them. Had a bracket laying around for the relay to hang. Easy cheesy. Getting closer by the minute. #96fixerupperaba84851fbfc96000ed3514cbd173040.jpgc274bfff7a302c0ba070a3e7de659dd5.jpg

Mrelcocko, Hey nice job on the fixing up, If you want another one to fix up, I will sell you my 97 SE 4x4. It is in great shape and needs very little. It only has 70,000 orginal miles and has been a southern truck its whole life. Looking to get about $2500 out of it.

Finally getting to the rust spots on my 96 Pathy. Never done body work before, so read literature and watched YouTube videos not looking to bad.bcf75597fae14ffa1f48bc52ef3fd239.jpge66b5a276d85a6c7f3c465f083cb4b9f.jpgce964780d5b72bb8afac7918bc55b1ba.jpg083b7470b3a5a34cd4e956c03db6edc3.jpg4dc02389354853bf54a65a52ad4517e9.jpg6c025c14cdd9230a01a8341e784fa0f7.jpg

Added a light under the hood. Surprised Nissan didn't put one in from the factory go figure. To me it looks like the hole in the hood from the factory is for a light. That's what I used it for anyway. Really easy upgrade. Also added clock. #96fixeruppercontinuesb7374a956a579644192146a46483ed58.jpgcd235aea022ba8931d72bd9e11d688b0.jpgf34be023913a1a86c011584b1be04b1b.jpge617377062e610347a3457f889c607a7.jpgb89d0ed8b664716594ecff8b2a68e054.jpg48b1d312b213f48d157dee2da2af804c.jpgb1e96f251eae540f6e9e0434873d097f.jpg

The underhood light's one of the most useful mods I've done to my truck. Really nice to have when you're working under the hood.
Yes it is. Comes in very handy. On a dark road if a problem arises or just anywhere you need some light under the hood.

Just some before and afters with year 1 in the books. I'm really pleased with the way the drivers side rear quarter turned out since never having done body work before looks fairly good for my first time. New tires, timing belt, water pump, tailights, radio, speedometer, fuel & temp gauges, rear shocks, clutch fan, harmonic balancer, coolant reservoir, hood and front facia, fuel filter, plugs, wires, distributor, LED fogs replacing factory ones and installed new LED'S in the grill. Added woodgrain radio bezel plus installed digital clock/security light. Put LED'S in gauges and all switches. Still not done with her, but the first year was a blast from purchasing for $500 to the wife rear ending someone till now Thanks NPORA and all of you for putting up with the guy who doesn't go 4 wheelin and has the cleanest R50's in the group. I'm OCD and can't help it. Your grill lights look identical to a light I was considering for a backup light. Vision X?
I gotem off eBay for a measly $16. Had them over 7 months now. No problems.
