Thatoneguy
I have a 89 pathfinder SE. One day while driving it lost power for a quick second almost like a hiccup, once i came off the gas it would not accelerate and when it would, it would putt, almost like a machine gun, ive changed MAF, TPS, O2 sensor, engine coolant temp sensor, and its worse, now it idles like an old truck as if it wants to die, when i got it last year i changed, fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter. When i drive now its like a rodeo, it stops and goes, stops and goes but when it goes its a hard kick. Any idea?

Thatoneguy
It seems like me and Leo94 have the exact same issue with fuel in oil and smoke when it runs and all that, going to try a few things then go ahead and check timing, thanks for the reply! Slartibartfast
Fuel in oil and smoke when it runs sounds like a leaky injector to me. Or the ECU is richening the mixture to absurd lengths. I don't know the TBI as well but I'd start by doing the ECU self-test on the oxygen sensor and checking the temp sensor to see if it's in spec.
