D_Bomb17
Hey all! I'm glad to have joined NPORA! My first Pathfinder was a 1993 XE, which I bought for weekend excursions down forestry service roads. However, I had an accident with my daily driver so "Patty" became my new daily, and I loved it. I couldn't go back to driving a car anymore, just didn't feel right. I would have loved to restore her if it wasn't for the badly rusted frame. Once I fixed up and sold the car, I was on the lookout for another Pathy and came across a 99 Chilkoot. With a perfect frame, body, and interior, it seemed like the perfect replacement. The only thing is, it doesn't start haha! It cranks, but doesn't catch. So my first project is to get it running. That's where I'm sitting right now! Clearly, the new Pathy needs a new name, any suggestions? Cheers, D.N.
Slartibartfast
No specific name ideas (I named mine after the dead rat I found in the airbox resonator) but there's gotta be something you can do with it being a Chillikoot from Chilliwack. Good luck with the diagnosis, hopefully it's something simple.

adamzan
Check to see if you have spark. Common for the distributor to fail on the VG33. Also check to ensure the timing belt hasn't broken.
