Camshaft561
the other day as I was driving home from some pretty rough roads, lots of vibration, the drive quality began to feel as if I was out of gas or even charge so I looked at the gauge cluster and watched as everything dropped to a 0 reading. the headlights remained on and so did the radio but when I tried to reset the computer by turning the key off then back on it wouldn't crank. it was like I had a dead battery. previously in the month, my alternator went out but it didn't quite feel like that nor did my electronics fail as they would with a dead battery. I'm thinking maybe a relay or the starter is bad but I wouldn't think some of the symptoms would apply to those issues. any ideas or certain responses would be welcome and appreciated
maddmark1981
Sounds like you shook something loose. A ground possibly. Id start there by looking it all over. Have you been boosting much or charging the battery while both + & - are still connected?
RCWD21
Check the positive lead on the starter, I've had one come loose and due to rust and oil build up it acted like a bad starter/ no start condition. It could even be your trigger wire for the starter, it's in the same area. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
