The #6 spark plug sucks! Just sayin'

I've found a way to conquer it. Use around a 7inch extention and a swivel headed ratchet drive. Piece of cake.

Or be lucky and have a couple factory tool kits at your disposal

But seriously if it hasn't been removed in a while it's a major PITA!

I got it swapped.....took a while. It's the angle and lack of visibility. Jesus.

While doing spark plug yoga on top of the engine, I somehow managed to do something to my Throttle Position Sensor.....threw a P0120 right away....no signal at any of the terminals on the TPS. I have no idea what I did.

But, a 45 minute drive to town at 15km/hr got me a new one at the auto parts store.

What a week.

Like RCWD21 said factory tool kits come with a tool to remove #6 plug. I didn't like the factory tool whatsoever so I found another way to conquer #6. Congratulations on the yoga and the removal of PITA #6!

I usually use 2 extentions and a swivel to get my hands clear of the sharp lip of the panel that's right there, the tool kits are a breeze when the plug isn't stuck or extremely tight, plus you don't have to lean over as far to get a good angle. Then to put the new plug in I use a piece of fuel hose so it's easier swivel the plug around to get it started. That and antiseize on the threads
