Jgz
Hey guys, new here. Have a 1994 TD27t and looking to blank off EGR. Only problem is, that I can't seem to find where I am meant to blank it off from. Searched the forums and found a couple of related posts, but the pics were no longer showing. Any one got any handy of the location of where I can fit my blanking plate?
Citron
Mine is the vg30e, but I put the blanking plate right where the valve bolts up. You will also need to plug the hole in the exhaust manifold and cap the vaccum line.
snowboard419
Around here there are not many diesels so finding that info might take some time.
snowboard419
There is schematic here http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Hardbody/Diesel%20Engine%20Supplement/ . Block either between the exhaust manifold and egr. or between egr and intake manifold.
Jgz
Most people here running petrol? Petrol in NZ is far too expensive (near $2 per litre), and so the diesel variants are what we prefer ($1.08 per litre). Thanks for the link, had exactly what i was looking for. TD27's are pretty rare in NA, seems the reverse in your neck of the woods.,
