r3dplanet
The title pretty much says it. I'm trying to figure out why my cruise dash indicator blinks whenever I enable the cruise control. The schematics show a fuse (but I can't find it) and an ASCD computer module (but I can't find that, either). Can anyone tell me where to find these gems? Thanks! Citron
On the 92 the ASCD is located behind the left driver panel in the cargo bay, above the wheel well. The fuse should be in the fuse block under the dash by the driver's left knee. I would think the 95 would be the same.
r3dplanet
One would think, right? The service manual shows the ASCD module down by the hood release, but isn't. There's no fuse in the fuse panel for the cruise, either. I would never have thought to tear open the body moulding to look for the ASCD unit, but I'll see if I can pop it out and have a look. Thank you for that. Edited April 11, 2017 by r3dplanet
adamzan
It is like right under the rear most window on the drivers side. It hardly ever goes bad, but anything is possible. I would also suspect bad connections (corrosion).
Citron
My manual shows it by the hood release on the hardbody, but in the back on the pathfinders.
vagabond
pull the left rear panel and you'll find it living there with a few of it's friends
Muncie
If it turns out not to be the fuse...look up the posts on steering will clock ring contacts. Those things wear down. I don't know if it would cause the flicker or not, though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
