Halogen Posted February 4, 2017 Share Posted February 4, 2017 (edited) Oky i need to repair my outer doorsteps because they are dead from rust.. and i realy don`t find any repair element for them on any shop here its like it doesen`t exist. Iv found on the PartSouq.com this part number: 7641399G30 is it what i`m looking for ? , because its like 200$ for 1 pice oem nissan. Or shuld i go to some welder and repair them like the old days from a thin pice of metal board? any advice or cand confirm that the code is what i`m looking for ? Thanks ! Slartibartfast Posted February 5, 2017 Share Posted February 5, 2017 You're looking to repair the step bars? Looks like the part number you posted is for the rocker panel, not the step bar. I'd be very surprised if anyone makes a repair kit for the step bar. Most people just chuck them when they get rotten and run without. That's what the PO of my rig did, and I can't say I've missed them. You might be able to get them repaired, but rather than spend money on the stock junk, I'd be inclined to look for a set of aftermarket bars or even upgrade to rock sliders that won't crush if hit from below. Need to replace that part on both sides... it`s an old pic now the rust is bigger. PS: He`s level now back then i was instaling the iron mann suspension and just finished the rear. Iv gooled on the site and iv found this part Nissan Pathfinder 86-95 Slip-on Rocker Panel 4 Door 28$ wow thats a nice price tbh. Here in europe the truck is extremly rare especialy in romania...i can order after market parts for bushings spark plugs and filters anything else need to buy it oem nissan on a 4day order.
