Tranny cooler

Can any one tell me the best place to mount this in a 95 pathy. :confused:

Mine is between the radiator and the a/c coil.

I mounted mine in front of the radiator.

First off, don't buy a tube-and-fin type cooler. They don't work as well as the plate type coolers. Buy a plate-type cooler. They work better and are LOTS more durable, less prone to clogging up with mud, etc..

 

Next, between the rad and the AC condenser is a great place. Aside fron that, in front of the AC condenser or radiator.

thx 88path guy, i have to get my tranny rebuilt in the next month cause i too have lost reverse, like many others, so i am upgradin the cooler, good to know.

When i mounted mine I mounted it in front of the Ac conditioner, only because i was warned and warned that it would restricked air flow to the radiator and yadda yadda. so i mounted it in front of ac conditioner but i would like to replace and mout it inbetween the a/c conditioner and the radiator for better protection and looks. But now thst i just relocated to New mexico I'm concerned that it might restrict the flow and over heat the engine, and since my Thermometer isn't the most reliable gauge in my cluster (same as the gas gauge) i was wondering if mounting it between would reduce air flow
