I have a 97 QX4 that I purchased with 130K miles. Here she was bone stock sitting at the Walmart parking lot. I will probably make multiple posts to get you all caught up to the build progress. socket_rockets Posted June 27, 2016 Author Share Posted June 27, 2016 Alright, so first real update was to replace the timing belt, water pump, t-stat, plugs, distributor cap, and wires. We got all the way down to expose the timing belt just to find out that it was new! Seems like it was replaced by the PO. We ended up replacing all but the timing belt and water pump, so I have a spare kit for maybe when I hit 175K miles Not much pics taken then but here's the final product. I had to make some adjustment to the mounting brackets because it was sticking out...I ended up grinding the welds and bolted the bracket mounts and it turned out allright I think. Surprisingly handled the moderate trail towards Devil's Bridge trailhead. Posing on a rubble. Lol Loaded with gear.
