Guest papaimp Posted January 27, 2004 Share Posted January 27, 2004 Hi, everyone! My name is Doug, and I am a Volksaholic, and I've succumbed to VW ownership for the last 15 years. I bought my 1987 Pathfinder for $900, I needed a "family car", but wanted something I can sneak off and play in too. I used to be athletic, until my wife gave me two beautiful daughters, now my major workout is carrying my 7 y.o. on my shoulders. I plan to replace the steering assembly, torsion bars, and mount beefier front and rear bumpers to my Pathfinder, and use it for camping duty. At least that's the excuse I gave my wife.
