Im having a problem with my left hub, when i lock them and put the 4H, I start to hear some little click and if I put the 4L I hear a louder clac sometimes. You can get the auto hubs to bang a little if you're spinning the rear end when they engage, but it's not really a click. I haven't found the manual hubs to make any noise, though you might check and make sure the bolts haven't backed out or something. Honestly your issue sounds more like a CV going bad. deerhurst Posted November 21, 2015 Share Posted November 21, 2015 I assuming auto hubs. Before I scrapped mine they would occasionally thunk into place. If it is the hub I say go to manual hubs, a world of difference. If its a manual hub it may be loose or going bad. Id pull them and check. While you are there check your CVs!
