Brkillpack
The front door speakers in my Pathfinder have blown. I'm not sure how to go about replacing them, do i have to take the entire door panel off, which is not that big of a deal, or can i just pop the "bezel" off and have access to the screws. Also what size of speaker should I be looking at? Its this type of door panel with the bigger speaker.
MY1PATH
I think There were 3 sizes of speakers that came in pathfinders. 1)The 2 doors got round 5.5" and most 6" could easily be mounted in its place if you remove the reducing ring from the doorThe 4 doors came with 5x7 or 6x92)IIRC the 5x7 had a metal reducing ring which needs to be used with the new speaker.3)The 6x9 came in the premium sound packages and had a resin impregnated enclosure the speaker sits into. The opening on the back of the enclosure faces down to improve bass and reduce window rattle. This is based on my 89, 93, 94 and many pathfinders I've seen in junk yards.
