broken link or moved/deleted page...

Don't you work in IT? :scratchhead:

B

I do work in IT. I am on a different computer and I just clicked on it. It opened up to my Facebook page. ??? Not sure why you are seeing broken link. The same posts are on the NPORA Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/NPORA/

I need to take the time to learn how to post photos here again. I have so much going on lately between work, my boats, and the Pathfinder project, its hard to sit down and learn something new, :) I will work on that.

Links broken Jim! No worky!

Thanks for letting me know. I don't know why that link won't work for you guys. I just listed the link to the NPORA Facebook page where I have shared all of my photos too as well.

Here is that one again. https://www.facebook.com/groups/NPORA/

Works for me. You are not on the Facebook I assume? Or have not tried to add Jim yet if you are?

Oh good... I am glad it is working for some at least. I was not understanding why that was happening. I have been careful to make my Pathfinder posts all open to the public on Facebook so anyone with a Facebook account should be able to see them. Of course, I have added and will add NPORA members as friends as they make the requests too.

Sorry, I just figured you'd be good at this stuff.

Well, the first is a broken link... for me... and the second two want me to log into facebook. I don't facebook and the NPORA facebook page is not affiliated with the NPORA site or monitored by it's staff. (we really should make that clear and/or delete it). If you wish to post pictures for the members of NPORA, you need to post links to publically hosted material. This is the thread that explains it: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/20781-how-to-post-a-photo/

Trying to see what you are doing, just can't...

The NPORA FB group seems to work for me, but then I'm logged into FB already.

I use Photobucket, it's kind of a pain but it's what I've used in the past and I don't care enough to learn something else LOL. Upload, get the direct link (not the IMG), click the picture of the tree over the bit you type text into, paste the link, and there you go.

Im like B, I have no Facebook. You linked one the other day that was public. Do that again. Or, its time to use Photobucket!

That is a good clue. I guess I need to link to the actual public post and not just to my page for those who don't have Facebook.

Try these. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152763979707301&set=pcb.10152763980127301&type=1&theater

thanks for the update. "I figured you would be good at this stuff"? I posted a link that I could open on any computer and others could too. I did not realize there was an issue with non Facebook people until you guys spoke up. It is not that I didn't know what I was doing, it is simply that a few people did not have Facebook. I think that the changes I made in last post will let you see them, but I have to wait for you to let me know since I am a FB member and can see all public posts.

Also, I wouldn't say that page is not affiliated with NPORA. It was created by NPORA members and has over 1000 NPORA members on it.

Not to intervene, but not the place to discuss NPORA/the facebook affiliation (or lack there of). Let's keep it focused on Jim's ride :aok: we can make a different thread discussing that alone if necessary.

Wait... Since when do I play any voice of reason?

The new links worked for me Jim!

Now that I know what worked and didn't work, they should work for everyone. Thanks guys for being so vocal about it that it helped me figure out that there was a problem and led to the solution.

I have been spending a lot of cash for the last 2 weeks on the Pathfinder project and I reached a point yesterday where I had to be careful until I got paid this week or I might be in a spot. Then out of the blue today, my housekeeper showed up with cash for my Cabrio that she has been wanting for the last month or so. She sold her Explorer and showed up with cash. Score. Selling a car that you didn't even have up for sale has only happened to me a couple of times. She was super happy about getting the car and I cared so little for it that I haven't even driven it in months. smile emoticon Now, I can buy my winch and get the mount made for it.

Your going to be bored in a month or have to break things on a daily basis just to keep up with this trend Jim!

Funny! My plan is to be busy as heck between wheeling my new Pathfinder against my buddy's newly lifted 4Runner, boating in my Cabin Cruiser I bought in December, and sailing the sailboat I bought around the same time. Plus, I got 3 Sea Kayaks in the last couple months for the summer too. Now you can see why I am rushing to finish this project as quickly as I can.

How well do those tires stuff? We're going to have to have a shake down run when you get it put together, can't wait to see it in person.

I don't think the tires would have the clearance I want with just the body lift. I haven't even driven it yet with these tires on it. The suspension lift is due to arrive Friday and once that is installed it will be a whole new story.

Today I ordered some Superlift Locking Hubs and a 150psi onboard air tank/compressor system. You can see the photos at https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152768697927301&set=pcb.10152768702187301&type=1&theater. Let me know if anyone has trouble viewing them.

Also, I am currently in a bidding war on an auction that ends in an hour for a 12,500 lb capacity winch with accessories. Its not a Warn this time, but I am going to give it a try. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152768695872301&set=a.55427457300.78083.605882300&type=1&theater

I bought the winch for $242.49 including shipping. It is an off brand and OMG I am getting so much grief over that on the NPORA Facebook page, but really it is just one piece of the puzzle. It is going to be a pretty sweet Pathfinder when done.

Ok then I am going to move this thread into the 86.5-89 section, just wanted to make sure beforehand :aok:

*A link to it's new location will remain in the 90-95 section for about 30 days.
