Angelmen
Is this mean the egr is bad or something els that has to do with the egr .?
WD21colorado
is it code 32 or 23? because the DTC code of 23 is idle switch and code 32 is egr function,
Angelmen
It's 23 that's what it gave me .

Angelmen
That's what the ecu gave me . So it has something to do with the egr right . I look at it all the hoses are in good condition .
WD21colorado
yes the EGR control your nox output. by re diverting the exhaust gas's back into the combustion chamber, you want to make sure the egr valve still works by putting vacuum pressure on the egr vacuum line. and feel if the diaphragm moves. if it doesn't move then the egr is bad. My vehicle is also throwing the same code and found out the wiring harness that controls the vacuum solenoid and has an intermittent fault. you might also want to check you vacuum lines that run to the egr valve and make sure they dont have a leak. Angelmen
Ok I'll try to do all that thanks .
ebayfish
I had a bad miss & threw this code. Its an easy one to get the egr off & scrape clean. Just make sure to get a new egr gasket to reinstall.

Slartibartfast
That means there's still a problem. This means the computer didn't immediately see the issue, but discovered it when it tried to actuate the valve or after the system warmed up. The FSM has a diagnostic procedure starting on page 93 of the EF&EC section for diagnosing your code.
