ebayfish Posted December 9, 2014 Share Posted December 9, 2014 All my dome light sensors work except the only one that's constantly used. I grabbed 2 new sensors from the junk yard today, both with rubber still intact. I tried both sensors & still no dome light when the driver door is open.besides the sensor itself, is there a common place when this becomes unplugged/fails? Slartibartfast Posted December 9, 2014 Share Posted December 9, 2014 The switch grounds to the sheet metal of the door jamb IIRC, so I would start by checking that the bolt hole is clean. If that doesn't do it, jumper from the switch connector to body ground to rule out a problem with the switch itself. If neither of those do it, well, you're gonna have to pull the pillar trim and figure out where that wire's come loose. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
