I just bought this 92 last week and when looking at it( night time) missed some major issues on the rear passenger side and am looking for any suggestions on how I can correct the problem. Also if there is anyone in the san diego area who has a welder that would be willing to allow me to use, it would be greatly appreciated. I do not have the money for the rust repair kits. Here's my issue...

being in cali you should be able to find a rust free frame to either get pieces to weld in or do a frame swap. I know up here by SF there are at least 4 picknpulls that I could get a good frame from. How does the rest of the truck look? have you checked under the rear seats?

everything else is looking good the rest of the frame is in great shape for some reason this is the only area that has this problem. looked under the rear seats and everything looks just fine no issues
