thorpe991
So my suspension is shot all the way around and I am replacing the rear coils with ones from kyle94 but i was wondering how i could test front coils and struts because there is a 00 at my local jy with new looking kyb struts and i would like to test them before i install them

Leo98
I suppose you could do the bounce test first. Jump up and down about 3x on the bumper and hop off, watch to see if it keeps going by itself and if it does then no good, but if it goes up and stops quickly? i would use them. Precise1
I don't know of any test you can do without a drivable car on the ground. Inspect for leaks or damage/wear and buy/try. A little bit of a gamble, but so is life... I will point out this: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/38519-spring-dimensions/ And deal with the double post. thorpe991
So i went to my local jy today and picked up to brand new looking strut/coil setup. I almost bought the rear arms as they look new to but you can twist them by hand but the suspension is fully extended so i was wondering if they should rotate like that as mine (that the bushings are shot in) i cant move, but the suspension,is under load (tires on ground not jacked up at all) Edited August 2, 2014 by thorpe991
