AC issues

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a 2008 Pathfinder with the V6. Recently the AC has been acting up, it blows cold air but the volume of air coming out of the vents has gone down. I am thinking it's the blower but don't know a ton about these systems. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you changed the cabin air filter?

Not for a couple years. Seemed like it was working fine and than it all of sudden stopped putting out as much air.

Pull the filter and look around. Sounds like a obstruction, maybe rodent related. You could also lower the blower motor down and inspect it for debris.

Agreed, I would start there first.

Thanks for the advice, where is the blower located? Is there more than one? Thanks again!

Its under the right side of the dash. Removal of the glove box may be needed. Thats also how you would get to the in-cabin filter.
