89Rotary Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 now, are you sure its Lifter? and not an exhaust tick? broken/cracked manifolds at idle sound like tapping lifters sometimes. byob Posted May 23, 2014 Share Posted May 23, 2014 Make sure it is a lifter not a exhaust leak like 89 said. Will it go away-no. The lifter is starting to collapse or a outside chance it is sticking.
