grease fitting on the drive shaft

Recommended Posts

anyone ever removed the grease fitting on the drive shaft, mine is no longer taking grease, not sure if it is worth while to even look into but I thought I would ask the group.

It should come out with a 10mm socket, I think. That's what it looks like to me anyway. No reason why you couldn't replace it. I'd probably avoid using the cheapest fitting you could find though, they are probably more prone to rusting or failure.

Could just be plugged up. Sometimes a pick can be used to free up the check ball. Or just take it off and clean it up then re install.
