RedPath88 Posted May 20, 2012 Share Posted May 20, 2012 Effective June 1 2012 there will be changes to the Classifieds subsections Parts For Sale, Free Parts, Parts Wanted and Vehicles For Sale. All topics will automatically CLOSE 45 days after the last post. All topics will be automatically DELETED 180 days after the last post. These changes are retroactive and will effect existing topics! We currently have over 2100 topics and 12,100 posts in the classifieds, of which the vast majority of which are dead and no longer needed. Please keep this in mind if you have any current or post any future topics in the effected sections. If you have current threads in any of these area's that you feel need to remain open and the LAST POST will be 45 days or older on 06/01, then you WILL need to BUMP the thread (post in it) or it will be CLOSED. If it is 180 days or longer since the last post, it will also be DELETED. If you have threads that you no longer want to remain open, then no action is required. The system will close and delete them automatically, based on the time frames detailed above. Another important thing to consider, please complete all deals AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so that if a dispute does happen, the thread has not been automatically removed before the deal is completed.
