Pezzy
Also I've heard of "Black Panther" skids don't know too much about them, some members here have them. That was also a member (in Canada) that made skidplates for our trucks, and sadly, life got in the way of his business. If you find a used set here in the buy & sell (They come up every now & then), they are good skidplates.
OldSlowReliable
Not sure what kind of lift you're looking at, but if you're planning on a sub frame drop kit..you'll want to wait to install skids till you're sure they will fit
exit34rocker1017
While we're on the topic of skids, for those of us making our own middle skid, are there any dimensions out there? What are good spots to bolt it up? What to cover/what not to cover? Edited February 9, 2011 by exit34rocker1017
couvboy
Just an FYI. After I did my 4" SFD (Andrew's/KRFabs' kit), I called the guys at 4x4parts and inquired about a custom front skid plate. They did it with a few weeks turnaround and for $160 total. Fits perfectly.
tempo
If i want lift my Pthy only for 2.5" can i still use "usual" plates?
SilverPath
Yes, the AC lift doesn't move the subframe any. Just the suspension. When you do the SFD is when you need custom plates.
