Colorado State University

Multi-Medai Coordinator. Research and implement new learning technologies in the classroom. I also do a lot of video/audio production. Right now my main project is overseeing all the A/V in a new contruction project.

Followed the lady here where she got her Ph.D. I finished my B.A. here and worked here as a student doing video production and just kinda rolled right into it.

Got into A/V after playing in bands and doing a lot of DIY audio/video production. I get to play with a lot of cool toys all day and spend a lot of time at the computer.

My other job is being a professional social alcoholic and showing 21 year olds that 34 year olds can still party much harder than them.

Injection molding company

Diamond turning specialist (I make optical masters on a lathe with diamond tool bits)

15 years of machining total, owning my own shop for a few, then started diamond turning in a R&D facility. This is probably the last job in the field in the area for me so I better figure out what I want to do when I grow up since I don't really like my job anymore...

B

I did extrusion and injection molding for 5 years in Ohio. Was a good job and paid well just got tired spending all day in a dark windowless factory. Moved to Florida and became a bartender on the beach. For some strange reason I sometimes miss the plastics industry.

Me? I lie and tell people I'm an artist or a writer - so they'll leave me alone. I actually do paintings of writers painting typewriters.

And if that doesn't work, I can always go back to testing cup holders

Really, though: I've been a fish cook, a gas station attendant, a shoe salesman, a welder/fabricator, a carpenter, a furniture maker, a cabinet maker and welder in the same shop (!), a mobile home set-up person, a contact lens warehouse worker, a cell phone box labeler, a conveyor system tech, a student, a bass player, an astronomer, a model train scenery specialist, a photographer, and a general renaissance man (read - slacker).

On account of having no intention of ever growing up, I refuse to plan my career while I'm still in my 40's.
