Gear in tranny for speedo stripped? edit: didn't read it was a 95 till after posting, don't personally know if it is even a cable or electric.... Precise1 Posted January 9, 2009 Share Posted January 9, 2009 X2 my speedometer and odometer/trip also doesnt work as of this morning when leaving to school.. All electronic, and sometimes they fail. The speedo failed in my old 95XE, and the new 95XE had a failing tach. Thankfully, they are easy to swap, you just have to find the replacement unit.
