My Mom came by, told me she couldn't find the card she bought for me and asked me if I wanted a digital meat thermometer. "Thanks, but no. I have a dial one I hardly ever use", fed her lunch and sent her home with a spaghetti squash, 3 cans of salmon and a vegetable chopper. My GF gave me a nice 12" frying pan (subtle hint, eh?) and the neighbors had me over for dinner, cake and gave me a few shirts. My only regret is that I'm unable to take tomorrow off (as I usually do when my B-day falls of a Monday or Friday) thanks to idiotic scheduling at work.
