I’m about to put on some cragar 397, 15/8 with +6 offset. The tires are 15 inch 31/ 10.50 aggressive mud tires. My pathfinder is a 96, 4 by 4 with all stock suspension. Will this setup work

Should work. Looks like those wheels have 4.75" of backspacing, so if you want to go with a larger tire in the future it won't work, but for a 31x10.5 you'll be good.

I have an 01 Pathfinder LE stock as stock can be. I am going to be installing 2 inch spring and strut spacers and want to put 265/75/16 tires on my stock 6 spoke wheels. Does anyone know if and how much of a wheel spacer i would need to fit those tires? Pic is of my Pathy

Good thread.  I am shopping for wheels and tires now.  Here's my thought process on it.

LIFT & SUSPENSION:  Would like to do this later in one go (KYB, Rancho / SFCreations vs AC etc.)

WHEELS & TIRES:  Want to do this first to take advantage of some July 4th deals.

OEM:  17" 3-spoke Infiniti Wheel with 245/65/17 sizing.  Backspacing Unknown.

GOAL: Light to medium offroad/low mud capability for now with wider contact patch and more sidewall for daily driving.

TIRES: Set on the COOPER Discoverer AT3 4S after seeing a great Youtube Review on them

WHEELS: Will be 15"x8" with 3.75" backspacing

In the interest of trying to keep the same dimensions, the most equal size alternative will be a 265/70/15 tire.

I believe a 265/75/15 would be just enough to rub or hit the perch with normal PSI running and I don't want to run deflated tires (unless in mud) at higher speeds.

Based on Tire Size Comparison Calculator at  https://tiresize.com/comparison/ this will be the most equal match:

Would a 265/75r16 clear the strut perch on a 16x8 with 4" backspace?

Yes, I just installed this and can confirm.  I have a 2" lift and had to do a bit of trimming.

Whaaat your 235/85/16 fit with no wheel spacers? Everyone I've seen with them said they needed at least an inch on their front wheels

Gents,

Please consider this setup for a blacked out 04 R50?

Wheels: Black Rhino "Arsenal" model number:  2095ARS-86140M12: 20x9.5

Tires: 245/60R20 or 235/55R20

What is the factory wheel offset on the 2004 SE 4WD w/o TPMS?

Year: 1997 LE 4wd
lift : no lift
Wheels : 15" stock Le wheels
Tires : 31x10.5x15 BFG K02
Notes: searched the forum to see if I could mount 31s on stock Le rims. Mixed feedback so I thought it was worth a shot and got the local shop give it a try. Slight rub at full lock but worksIMG_20210502_192236612~5.jpg

Year: 2003

Front Lift : 2in AC Springs, KYB Extended Struts

Rear Lift: NRC9449 Springs (2.5in lift approx), Bilstein 5100 extended shocks

Wheels : U.S. Wheel Series 304, 15x8, -19 offset, 3.75 backspace

Tires : Falken Wildpeak AT3, 31x10.5

Notes: Both Front tires will rub the mudflap behind the tire in the front wheel well when making sharp turns or at full lock. Easy solution is to remove that mudflap, but I'm just letting the tires wear it down. Plus it's kind of fun to see people react to the noise when I'm parking. Alignment wise, the toe on the front passenger side is still a bit off after alignment, so I'm taking it back to get realigned with the longer camber bolts.

Year: 2003 LE

Lift: 2" Coil Lft

Tires: Michelin 245/65R17

Notes: No spacers used

Just adding to everything, got set of 4x 1x 235/80R17 Treadwright Warden all terrain and 235/75R17 4x 1x Goodyear Wrangler A/T. What's the most likely to fit without trimming but also being the fullest looking, and if any going to work?

Thinking about a new set of tires for my new 2-me 2004 LE R50? At the tire shop recently, the sales guy said an acceptable size tire (that was commonly available) and a bit TALLER than the stock 245 65 R17 is a 265 65 R17? Any experience with this sized tire? How does it compare to a 285 70 R17 (if even possible) for example? I’m trying for as much “lift” for more road/rock clearance while still sticking to a commonly available tire and wanting to keep the stock wheels. What tires and size do you recommend for these stock wheels and stock type suspension? Thanks for any help!
cheers, Aaron
