Volvo help

I know this is a Pathfinder forum, but there's lots of knowledgeable people on here.

On a '96 Volvo 850 that I've been driving for the last two weeks, the problem started about a week ago. I was driving it, parked and took the keys out, and realized that all the dash lights and radio were still on. The windows still work too. I was hoping it would turn off soon.

Today I went to check for the first time, and the lights are still on on the dash 3 hours after I've driven it. They must shut off sometime since the battery has never died on me. The family thinks it's something I did (of course!) so I need to get the blame off me.

Any ideas where to start?

Hmmm...

Well, first I would ask a Volvo forum, such as www.volvo-forums.com and www.volvoforums.com, www.swedespeed.com, www.ipd.com, and that's off the top of my head. There's a few others.

It may just be a bad battery. Low batterys are known to do some funky stuff.
